Some information about the yacht

La Grande Mia  is a  JON 40 Classic . L.O.A 11,85 Beam 3,5,Draught 1,95.The rigg Masthead 16,5 m. The yacht is build 1979 i.e 34 years old GRP construction.The constructor Jon Nyman aimed to compete with Nautor which at this time was famous for the yachts under the brand name Swan. Jon Nyman also established the boatyard Jonmeri. The most popular yacht produced at Jonmeri was Jon 33.
The Jon 40 Classic was later developed by widening the stern and sold under the name of Jonmeri 40.
